In the pregnancy/postpartum course some of the areas we will discuss include:

  • mental health and pregnancy – e.g. mindfulness, managing anxiety, feeling out of control and self care
  • preparing for birth – e.g. breathing, advocating for yourself, and options for courses to assist with pain management and preparation
  • the fourth trimester – e.g. managing new roles, sleep deprivation, changing relationships, expectations, and views of others
  • Attachment and responsive lead parenting
